Speech isn't all it's cracked up to be

It's sad that the official Writers Guild of America strike videos -- the neverending, one-note, generally missing-the-issues Speechless series -- have so much less impact that the YouTube videos thrown together by random individuals and groups of writers. The Speechless series has stars (and "stars") proving that actors have nothing to say without writers, and proving that the WGA thinks we'll watch anything just because it has a celebrity in it.
